Hello all,
I am excited to share with you an idea I had one how to store my Happy Planner Value Pack Sticker books. I used to have them all lined up on a peg board hanging in my craft room (see picture below). Unfortunately, this wasn’t working any more for a few reasons. The first reason is my old craft room will be transformed into a nursery for my daughter when she is born. The second reason is that there was no more room! It filled up quick, and let’s be honest, The Happy Planner isn’t going to stop any time soon! There are currently, as of June 21, 2019, 115 value pack sticker books! I may be addicted because I own every single one of them, and I, too, don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

My new idea was to label the top of the sticker books with a sticker label. I’m not a fan of my hand writing and it’s hard to write on that small space, so I typed out all of the names on sticker paper and I will show you below my process for this project.

For this project you will need Avery sticker project paper, eight and a half by eleven. I found it on Amazon. Next, a paper cutter to cut the name strips after you print them. I own the Fiskars small sized paper cutter from Joann. You will also need as many Happy Planner Value Pack Stickers as you own, or just the ones you want to label. I’m sure you want the file I created with the list of all the sticker books, and that will be at the bottom of this blog post for you to download.

For the labels I knew I wanted to be as detailed as possible since there are many books that have the same name. For that reason, I chose to include the number of stickers in the pack, the name on the front cover, and the year it was released. The reason I included the year is so I can see how old or new the book was. It was also helpful for sticker books with multiple editions, such as the back to school release or colorful boxes. The student sticker books would for example say (number, student, year) so it is easy to tell what student book I was grabbing!

This may go without saying, but step one is to match the sticker book with the label so you are sure you are putting the right one on each book!

The back of the sticker paper is easy to peel off and after you peel the back off, you stick it on top. There will be excess. I chose to have the whole top white because I liked how clean it looked, but if you wanted to you could use less and make the page have two columns so that you are using less sticker paper (for all 115 books plus a few duplicates, I used 5 pages of sticker paper).

After you stick down the label, you cut of any excess label, and boom! You’re done!

This is what the end product looks just for the mini sticker books that were released in 2017. I love how clean it looks and how easy it is to see what sticker book you are grabbing. This is a great method if you are storing you sticker books on a crafting cart like so many are.
Thanks so much for following along as I share my new process for labeling my sticker books.
